MetaDesign
The MetaDesign was founded in 1979 in Berlin by typeface designer and typographer Erik Spiekermann, now grown to a major creative bussiness company in Germany with a staff over 120 (!). MetaDesign SanFrancisco was started 1992, MetaDesign London in 1995.The site are many things one can learn from the use of their fonts, switches and symbolic icons. However, the construction of the system that is consistant throughout the entire site is splendid.
